Nice to meet you, I'm Ben!
As you can hopefully see from my portfolio, I am an experienced and versatile filmmaker. From TV comedy to commercials and documentaries, I have been working with high profile clients such as Rolex, Land Rover, Disney, Guinness, Samsung, American Express, BMW, Stella Artois, and Macmillan Cancer Care and the like for nearly 20 years.
I started off as an editor, quickly moving into cinematgraphy and direction, before becoming Creative Director for an award winning central London film studio, where I was responsible for the overall creative output whilst still directing some of the company's most successful projects.
In September 2014 I decided to go freelance in order to further my development as a filmmaker, meet new people, and grow my network. Since then I have had the luck to work on some incredible projects, from directing TV comedy The Stand Up Sketch Show, to commercials for Rolex and Tilda Rice, as well as award winning documentaries about rare diseases, racism, and fashion.
I am accustomed to working with everyone from salt-of-the-earth ‘regular Joes’ to A-listers, as well as high budget and low budget productions.
Alongside my directing work, I run a production company that can manage your film needs from script to screen.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions, or wish to work together!
